I have secured an EXTRA £1.5 million, on top of the additional £20 million the Labour Government has delivered to improve Hastings.​

 

We’ve now set out the broad areas that this money will be focused on, and need suggestions for each of these categories:

Pride in our streets: Small things that would make a big difference, such as broken bus shelters, bins, and cracked pavements.

Pride in our neighbourhood: Funding for places you want to see improved in our area, such as playgrounds, sports facilities, and things for people to do.

​

Pride in our town: Money will be set aside for major projects to improve the buildings in Hastings that have seen better days.  

​

We have seen previous funding schemes sometimes go wrong, such as the money sadly wasted on the short-lived 'family fun factory' Owens. ​So this time, I want local people and local businesses to tell us how they think that money could be spent to improve our town.  Give me your views and I will take it to the Hastings board.
