Worst Pothole in Hastings and Rye Competition

Conservative-run East Sussex County Council have been given a record £21 million of funding to fix our pothole pandemic in our area but are only planning to spend £18 million of it. This continues their terrible track record on managing public funds after a £5 million overspend on the Queensway Gateway disaster.

They've also been paying the same company to check the quality of the roads as the company that's been 'fixing' our pothole pandemic. Balfour Beatty have literally been marking their own homework on this.

The potholes in our area are dangerous to road users, causes delays for cars and buses, and costs us all a fortune in repairs to our vehicles. With this record funding they now have no more excuses- they must use ALL of this money to fix our roads.

So please send me a photo of the worst pothole you've seen so far in Hastings and RYe and I will invite the leader of East Sussex County Council to come and visit it.
